Junkers Plane Arrives
The Junkers seaplane en route from Melbourne to New Guinea arrived at Cairns from Bowen at about 1.45 p.m. yesterday. The plane moored opposite the Strand Hotel, and was an item of interest all the afternoon, as it is stated to be the first monoplane to alight at Cairns. Remaining at Cairns overnight, it is expected that the plane will leave for Cooktown this morning.
