The Bowen Bridge State School.
Since the outbreak of the war the sum of £38/18/7 has been received from the Bowen Bridge State School, as follows: Belgian Fund, weekly contributions, dating from April 17, £16/2/11; to the Milk for Babies of Britain Fund, £7/15/8; to Patriotic Fund, £15. The weekly contributions are being continued, and the senior girls at sewing time are making many of the numerous articles required by the Red Cross Society.

The Bowen Bridge State School, established in 1865, was replaced by the Windsor State School in 1915 - 1916 because of massive overcrowding.
